Earlier, we told you about Publix’s recall of its own Deli Artichoke and Spinach Dip. But just a couple of days after that recall was issued, Publix announced another recall–this one of a pair of foods made with that very dip.
This recall, which is not currently listed on the FDA’s recall page, covers 2 products:
- Salmon Florentine Gratin
- Scallops Florentine Gratin
These are ready-to-cook seafood products sold in the meat department.
In its announcement, Publix did not provide photos we could share with you. But media and community relations director Maria Brous did say that the recalled seafood products were sold at Publix stores in several states:
- North Carolina,
- South Carolina
There have still been no reports of any injuries or illnesses blamed on either the seafood products or the previously recalled dip.
No production codes or UPC numbers were given. If you would like more information about this recall or the oringinal one, you can call Publix directly a 1-800-242-1227.
Lisa’s Note: Because Publix did not provide photos of either recalled product, we snagged a screenshot of what we think is a similar food. Please ask at Publix for the exact products being recalled.
